The Short Video Production Workshop that starts on October 16 needs short film scripts to be produced and directed by the filmmakers who will be attending the workshop.
The criteria is as follows:

The script should be no longer than five pages

The script should contain minimal dialogue (The script should tell a visual story)

There should be no more than three primary characters

There should be no more than three locations in which the film takes place.

There can be no special effects or stunts.

The scripts may discuss any theme but should convey the flavour, diversity and cultural nuances of South Africa and its people.
Successful applicants will stand the opportunity to collaborate with the filmmakers on the development and production of their individual screenplays.
The completed short films will be screened at Shortz at the monthly screenings in 2006, as well as at our stand at the Sithengi Film & TV Market, 15 - 18 November.
