The Film & TV unit at Monash is proud to announce its first cycle of intermediate short courses and masterclasses for 2005
1) Production Accounting: 13 - 17 June: Introduction to film & television budgeting for accountants and bookkeepers. This course will be run by Jane Cordon CEO of Moneypenny Australia.
2) The art of digital editing: 20 - 24 June: For those already editing but who need to enhance their aesthetic capabilities. Using Final Cut Pro on Apple Mac's and run by Vuyani Sondlo.
3) Production budgeting: 18 - 22 July: for producers and production managers. This course will be run by Jane Cordon CEO of Moneypenny Australia.
COST: These courses are generously sponsored by the National Film & Video Foundation and MAPPP Seta therefore there is no cost to successful participants.
VENUE: Film & TV Unit, Monash South Africa 144 Peter Rd, Ruimsig (transport is available from Park Station)
DURATION: Courses run full time 09h30 - 16h00, 5 days each
PLACES AVAILABLE: Maximum 12 places available per course. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of 3 years experience in the film and television industry except for Production accounting (1) where bookkeeping / accountancy experience is a pre-requisite.
