CTWCF invites you to submit your films for the NLDTF Newcomers' Awards to be presented by the National Lotteries Distribution Trust Fund (NLDTF) at the Cape Town World Cinema Festival Awards Night on Saturday, 19th of November 2005, Artscape, Cape Town.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 31 AUGUST 2005
The NLDTF Awards will acknowledge and celebrate the work of first time filmmakers who, through their passion, dedication and commitment to the art of filmmaking strive for excellence in the production of their films.
The submission for films is open to anyone who is a first time filmmaker. This means a filmmaker who has not had a prior paid-for public screening of his/her work, nor had it screened at a festival or on television. These do not however include screenings at home before friends or family nor film school societies, etc. Please attach a declaration to this effect to your application.
To apply, please submit;
- Complete application form attached
- A VHS or DVD copy of your film: feature film, documentary or short film of any length
- Declaration that film had not enjoyed a prior paid-for public screening, nor screened at a festival or on television
