Short films not short on audiences at recent Short film festival

The recent Cape Town International Short Film Festival (CTISFF), hosted by the Cape Town Festival in collaboration with the Cape Town World Cinema Festival (CTWCF) has come and gone, but proved another outstanding success.

Screenings took place at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre with films supplied courtesy of the Film Resources Unit (FRU), CityVarsity Film School and AFDA Film School.

The Cape Town Festival monitored daily audience attendance at the screenings and we are pleased to announce that the stats show 4990 people as having attended the short film screenings.

The CTWCF would like to thank the Cape Town Festival for this platform and all who showed their wonderful support of short films, which also form part of the offerings at the CTWCF.

This year the CTWCF takes place from 11 - 20 November at various City and community venues around Cape Town including the V&A Waterfront and Artscape.
