Lance Samuels is the CEO and founder of The Out of Africa Picture Company, a film company specializing in film production and facilitation. With over 13 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Lance has worked in film production and development with various independent production companies as well as many major motion picture houses such as Sony, Miramax, Universal and the BBC. Productions that Lance has been involved in include THE CANTERBURY TALES for the BBC, STRIPES OF THE ZEBRA with Scope Productions (Scotland) and the award-winning BEAT THE DRUM. Recently, Lance produced THE SUNFLOWER, THE EASTERN BRIDE, THE LONG FIRM and TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.

Mbongeni Ngema is one of South Africa's leading entertainment icons. He has received worldwide success and numerous awards for his hit musicals, "Asinamali", "Sarafina!", "Woza Albert!", "Magic at 4am", "Maria Maria", "Township Fever", "Sheila's Day" and "The Zulu". In 1998, Mbongeni was inducted into the "Walk of Fame" at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in Manhattan, New York. He was also one of the vocal arrangers for Disney's "The Lion King" and was nominated for a Grammy award.

Mbongeni is the founder of Committed Artists, specializing in theatre, music and film. He is also an Executive Producer at Out of Africa.

Leleti Khumalo is one of South Africa's leading actresses. She shot to fame for her unforgettable roles in SARAFINA!, CRY THE BELOVED COUNTRY, HOTEL RWANDA and YESTERDAY, which was recently nominated for an Academy Award. For her outstanding performance in the theatrical version of "Sarafina!", she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress and a Film Image Award. Leleti has recently joined Out of Africa as a Creative Producer.

Ken H. Simmons, II is the President and co-founding partner of J.A.K.E. Productions, a successful Black empowerment enterprise specializing in event promotion, production and management that was founded in 1997. Ken has more than 21 years of professional business experience. He has a history in music that goes back over 24 years, and he has performed as a jazz, rock, gospel, and hip-hop musician, and continues to write, produce, and perform music. He is originally from Oakland, California, USA and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley. Ken practiced architecture for over 13 years, starting in the United States of America and relocating to South Africa in 1995. He continues to consult in architecture on a project basis.

Jessica Motaung is the Vice President and co-founding partner of J.A.K.E. Productions. Jessica has over 14 years of professional business experience in South Africa. She has hosted the television programme, "Speak Out" on SABC 1 and co-presented the live television broadcast of the Miss PSL Pageant. Jessica was a successful print and runway model, and gained invaluable experience through her provincial, national, and international achievements in pageantry (i.e. Miss SA Gauteng 1997, Miss South Africa First Princess 1997, Miss World Second Princess 1997, and Africa's Queen of Beauty 1997). As a business executive she was appointed as the Marketing Manager of Kaizer Chiefs Football Club in 2003, where she is responsible for overall marketing, promotions, business development, and event coordination.
