It consists of screening facilities  viewing booths and for larger audiences, a viewing lounge will also be made available. We encourage film makers to have an official screening at Sithengi as part of Market Screenings too.

It offers a prominently located business suite manned by knowledgeable and informative staff, specifically designed for product buyers and filmmakers with films registered in The Product Market. It assists filmmakers and buyers to conveniently interact through a well-structured programme to be marketed and supervised by Sithengi staff.

Sithengi will actively attract buyers to The Product Market stand by:
Printing a Special Market Screening Guide and a Product Catalogue that will be distributed to all buyers and product distributors.
Issuing official invitations from the Chairperson of Sithengi to attend all the film screenings.
Insisting that all Sithengi guests visit The Product Market during the market.

Sithengi invites independent producers to submit their products for entry into the following 3 categories for screening:

1. Market Screenings (Digital/Beta)
2. Product Library (VHS/Beta)
3. On Demand

Market Screenings
For these screenings you can invite approximately 60 delegates for a viewing - delegates can include buyers, your peers, and anyone else who is a registered delegate at Sithengi. Responsibility for the marketing of your film will rest entirely with you, although Sithengi will assist you by publishing your product in the Special Market Screening Guide. This option comes at a cost of R1 485,00 per film and the price includes VAT.

Product Library
If you decide that the fee to have your film screened at the Market Screening is beyond your budget, you can have a copy of your film held at our Product Library for the duration of the full 4 days. The marketing and promotion of your film will be your responsibility, but we will publish your film in our Special Market Screening Guide. However due to space limitation we must  limit you to only 3 posters. This option comes at a cost of R 228,00 per film including VAT.

On Demand
In addition to the two options above, Sithengi 2002 also offers the On Demand option. This option is for those film makers who arrive at the market, film in hand, who want to have an on-the-spot viewing with prospective buyers or interested parties. Please note that the screening session here will be for 30 minutes only. This option will cost you R228,00 per film including VAT.
