Three close friends and wanna-be stand-up comedians, Kags (Lediga), Dave (Kibuuka) and Joey (Rasdien), are on their way to the rock festival, OppiKoppi. There they are counting on having a depraved weekend that includes scoring some drugs, having wild sex, finding true love and, perhaps, conquering the comedy scene. All three are new to comedy and although each draws inspiration from personal sources - Joey from sex with Angela (Chow), Dave from trashing his own black, middle-class status and Dave from playing with loose women, much to the consternation of his girlfriend Kim (Engelbrecht) - they still have to come to terms with themselves before they can become professionally funny. Shot in stylish black and white, this raw collaborative comedy turned sexy road movie resonates, with a quirky music score and quintessentially wicked South African humour.
